Hi, I'm Brandon
I'm a filmmaker and photographer with a never-ending desire see and experience our beautiful earth. The first decades of my life don't reflect this. In fact, it's rather ugly and depressing.
At the age of 19, I left home and joined the Air Force as a firefighter with the goal of gaining complete independence. I was running away from home, family, problems. This decision was an unpopular one, but I didn't care (it's kinda my thing). Leaving home felt like the movies where you see a character walking away from a glorious explosion in the background. And it did feel pretty cool.
Since then, I've worked several jobs within the first responder career field. These jobs were difficult and exposed me to things I'll never unsee, or unhear. Tragedies on the daily. It wasn't sustainable, but it never was supposed to be. I was destined for more, and I knew it. I stayed the course and quit once my camera made enough to replace my dispatcher salary.
Today, I'm 34 years old and married. I've built a life surrounded by love and acceptance with someone who holds the same values and morals. Together we've traveled over 65k miles in less than 2 years in our van, hiked hundreds of miles, and climbed numerous peaks. Every adventure leaves us with the same burning desire—to keep er' moving.
